Raymond Moretti Double Original Drawing From The Jean Cocteau Period
Artist: Raymond Moretti (1931-2005)
Original double-sided drawing, signed and dedicated by Raymond Moretti. Black and red ink drawing on heavy vellum from the Aussedat paper mill in Annecy. Circa 1962-1964, during his collaboration with Jean Cocteau. The two faces share the same style as his ceramic plaque created in 1964 (also for sale in my gallery). The floating frame allows the drawing to show through on the reverse, which also features a stylized profile of a face in red ink. Good overall condition, with some old creases. Sheet only, 50 x 32 cm. All questions welcome.
