Under the patronage of Queen Marie Antoinette beginning 1778

Decorated with delicate garlands of flowers tied with a ribbon, double gold border
Good condition; slight wear on the gilding
I havehave not been able to determine the use of this object—which is evidently quite rare given its size and shape—nor whether it had a lid or not.
