"Egyptian Blue Faience Ushabti – Third Intermediate Period / Late Period"
Egyptian blue faience ushabti, depicted in a mummy-like shape, with arms crossed over the chest. It features a hieroglyphic inscription in a worn column on its back. The faience is predominantly turquoise blue, with an old patina and consistent wear. It has a stylized tripartite wig and a flat base. Height: 11 cm. Dating: Third Intermediate Period – early Late Period (c. 1000–600 BC). Condition: Wear and glaze losses consistent with age. This object comes from a former collection in the Tarn region dating from the 1970s.
