Pair Of Gothic Armchairs
A pair of early 19th-century Gothic oak armchairs, whose "napkin-fold" panels date from the 15th century. It's difficult to know precisely when they were made, but based on their construction, they could be from the 18th century. They are entirely pegged, the saw marks are hand-sawn; nothing in these chairs is machine-made, and the overall construction is very well-balanced.
