Set Of Four Louis XV Style Cabriolet Armchairs In Natural Wood
Set of four Louis XV period armchairs in carved natural wood. The "cabriolet" style, due to the movement of the upper and lower seat rails. Charming floral ornamentation, very fine and robust molding of the armrests. Lovely original "hare's coat" patina. These armchairs are sprung; the backs were likely originally cane-backed (traces remain on the back of the backrest uprights). Dimensions: height 88 cm; width 60 cm; depth 58 cm. Note: minor damage and losses.
