Superb and rare Mennecy soft-paste porcelain mustard pot. The body is attached to the stand and decorated with flowers typical of the manufactory. The lid, mount, and spoon (with monogram) are in vermeil with Louis XVI style decoration. Hallmarks are present. A small glass container for the mustard is included. A rare piece of 18th-century form with a beautiful 19th-century mount. A small, restored crack on the body.
