Solid silver mustard pot, finely chased with caryatid decoration, small claw feet and palmettes, scroll handle, finial in the shape of a stylized pine cone. Blue glass. Hallmarks: 2nd Rooster Paris 1st standard (1809-1818). Hallmark: Helmeted warrior's head, medium guarantee hallmark. Maker's mark: JP B, a lion and a star, two dots for Jean-Pierre Bibron, received as master in 1798 in Paris. Active from 1798 to 1809.
