A rare and elegant Sceaux faience vase, signed Aubé, baluster-shaped with a bronze mount, richly decorated with high-quality figurative scenes (RBN24SCE001). Period: late 19th – early 20th century (in the 18th-century style). One side features cherubs in a gallant landscape, finely rendered in pinkish-purple monochrome, while the other side is adorned with a pastoral and lakeside scene, offering a balanced and refined composition. This double-sided vase can be turned around to suit one's mood, taste, or the style of the room in which it will be displayed. The decoration is signed Aubé, a painter renowned for his delicate and narrative designs, adding further artistic value to this piece.
