SAROUK RUGS Sarouk rugs have a rich history. They are woven in Sarouk, as well as in the city of Arak and the surrounding regions. Rugs from this region are also known as Feraghan, Feraghan Sarouk, Mahal, Mohajaran Sarouk, Mushkabad, and Viss/Golpayegan. Sarouks remain popular among Persian rugs today and are made of very high-quality wool. The designs are mostly floral (floral style) in shades of red, brown, beige, ivory, and blue.
