SAROUK RUGS
Sarouk carpets have a long history. They are woven in Sarouk but also in the city of Arak and the surrounding regions. The names of the carpets in the region are also Feraghan, Feraghan Sarouk, Mahal, Mohajaran Sarouk, Mushkabad and Viss/Golpayegan. Sarouks continue to be popular among Persian rugs today and are made of very good quality wool. The designs are mostly flowery (floral style) in shades of red, beige, ivory and blue.
