18th-century Soup Tureen, Terrine, And Dishes From The East India Company
A superb East India Company set comprising a tureen and two porcelain platters. The oval tureen, resting on a footed base, features two handles in the shape of pigs' heads. Its lid has a handle in the shape of a pomegranate. The entire set is decorated around the rim with lines and borders featuring floral and foliate motifs. Each piece is also adorned with a coral and blue coat of arms surmounted by a crown. These are high-quality, decorative pieces in very good condition, without any damage or repairs.
