Porcelain tiger with enamel decoration. Kozan School. Meiji period, Japan. Statuette of a tiger mounted on a rock from which a stream flows. A symbolic bamboo is depicted in low enamel relief. The tiger's fur is striped with gold. Created in the style of Makuzu Kozan, but without the master's mark. Excellent condition. Height: 175 mm. Japan, Meiji period, early 20th century.
