Object description :

"Second Half Of The 19th Century Chain clock"
Refined wall clock with a suspension chain, enameled tin case, and lost-wax cast and gilded bronzes. The dial features Roman numerals and opens on the front, while the clock is further refined by the presence of phytomorphic bronzes and the floral enamel motifs on the sides of the case. The clockwork is functional and chimes the hours and half-hours. The clockwork bears the trademark of the famous clockmaker firm "Japy Frères & Cie." This is a tasteful and classy clock, capable of furnishing any space with refinement. French manufacture, second half of the 19th century.
