Art Deco period buffet in rosewood and solid mahogany veneer, with wrought iron ornamentation. It features four drawers, two side doors, and a central glass-fronted display cabinet. The cornice is adorned with a marquetry frieze of mother-of-pearl and ebony. Signed with a marquetry shell: Majorelle, Nancy. Three locks with their working keys. Resting on four legs connected by a shelf. French polished. In very good condition. Note: it disassembles into two parts for easier transport. *Louis Majorelle (1859-1926) was a French cabinetmaker and decorator of the Art Nouveau movement, known as the École de Nancy, of which he was also vice-president.
