A pair of Luna e Sole chairs designed by Carlo Berruti and produced by Danber Italia in the early 1990s. The stained beechwood base supports a circular backrest mounted on a curved metal rod, which in turn supports a hand-painted panel depicting the moon and the sun. Each backrest features a unique pictorial work, playing on color contrasts and celestial symbols. The dark blue velvet seat reinforces the balance between whimsy and elegance, characteristic of Carlo Berruti's aesthetic. Danber Italia, circa 1990.
