"Small Napoleon III Planter From The Zimberg House, 19th Century "
Made of natural wood stained black, this small planter, typical of the Napoleon III style, is the work of the cabinetmaker Zimberg, who was located at 52 Passage des Panoramas and 15 rue de l'Ancienne Comédie. His label is still present underneath. Adorned with numerous decorative applications in bronze and mother-of-pearl, plus a central medallion depicting Hermes, it has its own zinc liner, ideal for crocuses and similar plants.
