"Light Cavalry Officer's Belt. First Empire."
A black patent leather belt, composed of three sections joined by round brass buckles. At the front, there are two round plates, molded in relief with a lion's head, connected by an "S"-shaped hook ending in snake heads. The belt is complete with its two sword straps. The first band is reinforced with double leather. In good condition. See photos. France. First Empire; early 19th century.
