Set: French Cavalry canteen and a drinking cup. The label is marked (French Light Cavalry Canteen 1798). Made of worn sheet iron, with a wide, single neck and its original cork stopper, protected by a metal cap, with loops for the tan leather strap. And an individual drinking cup made of thick, stamped and tinned tinplate, with a single handle. Engraved with an eagle and the number "94" at the bottom. Set in good condition. France. Early 19th century.
