"Bronze Little Girl Forming Ring Sizer "
A bronze shield with a double patina depicting a little girl. Resting on a griotte red marble base with canted corners, the subject represents a little girl in brown patinated bronze seated on a green patinated bronze seashell. In her left hand, she holds her straw hat, and with her right, she points to a fish caught in the shell. The hollow of the shell serves as a ring holder. The original patina is very well preserved, and the marble base is not chipped. 19th-century work, Napoleon III period.
