Vases "allegory Of America" In Gilt Bronze And Crystal
Pair of vases "Allegory of America". The mercury-gilt bronze tripod base features three small Nubians wearing palm skirts, very finely chased, each with a necklace. In the center, they support a crystal amphora vase decorated with acid-etched bouquets of roses. Dating from the first half of the 19th century, this pair of vases comes from a family of sugar cane planters in our colonies. In very good condition, no flaws to report on the crystalwork!
