This large clock is in perfect condition, with no chips, cracks, or chips, and is entirely in keeping with the style of the renowned artist Jacob Petit (Paris) during the 19th century.
There is an incised handwritten mark under the base, as you will notice, but I have been unable to identify it.
This piece is quite old and is definitely not from the 20th century.
You will also notice the exquisite detail of the decoration and the interesting style of the figure depicting a corsair.
It measures 50 cm high, 28.5 cm wide, and 15.5 cm deep.
It comes in two parts. The mechanism is also antique, but the pendulum is missing, and the dial has some minor cracks, which are visible in the photos.
The photos also serve as part of the description.
