Vintage 1950s Sideboard In The Guermonprez Style

Vintage sideboard purchased in 1958 by its previous owners from a Parisian decorator and attributed to Gerard Guermonprez. Its style and design are similar to the famous "Monaco" model, with a difference in the opening mechanism.
The structure is made of period-varnished teak veneer (some minor scratches from use have only affected the varnish without impacting the wood.
There are no missing or even partial peeling veneer pieces).
It is supported by a base of welded rectangular tubes lacquered in period-correct black, fitted with four wooden feet, a common feature of this designer's work.
It offers ample storage space. The piece is fully demountable for easy transport and access up stairs.
