"18th Century Chest Of Drawers "
An elegant 18th-century commode, likely of Italian origin, featuring a curved, serpentine front typical of the late Baroque style. The piece is richly adorned with finely chased Rococo bronze mounts: foliate scroll handles, decorative keyhole escutcheons, and sculpted corner mounts. The commode is lacquered in a deep, contemporary or antique green, enhanced with gilt fillets that subtly accentuate the curves of the piece. It rests on cabriole legs ending in volutes and is topped with its original marble slab, a beautiful gray veined marble with a corbin beak edge, perfectly suited to the commode's generous lines. Its decoration, curves, and patina imbue it with all the charm of 18th-century Italian furniture, a blend of Piedmontese influence and Baroque tradition. Length 132 cm, height 90 cm, depth 60 cm
