A beautiful bar crafted from Chinese lacquer and inlaid with hardstones. This piece features multiple compartments accessible through six doors, a drop-down door, and a lid. On the sides, two doors reveal a space equipped with two shelves, allowing for the storage of bottles in the lower section and glasses in the upper. The two rounded corners are fitted with two doors, revealing a clever system for hanging glasses by their stems. At the front, the lower section opens with two doors, revealing a drawer. This section allows for the storage of numerous bottles. A drop-down door, held by two hinges and equipped with a mirrored back, provides access to the display area of the bar. A second mirror, topped with a rack, allows for the placement of glasses. At the rear, a carved and openwork wooden panel conceals a deep wine rack and also provides storage for additional bottles. Above, two tilting shelves expand the bar's storage space. All the doors, the drop-down door, and the interior of the lid depict scenes of daily life and traditional Chinese landscapes. Crafted in Chinese lacquer on a predominantly black background and highlighted with gold, each figure is entirely hand-carved from hard stones of various colors, creating an unparalleled depth.
