"18th-century Engraving, "view Of The City Of Venice...""
Engraving "View of the city of Venice from Chiogia with the Island of St. George the Greater to the side," a colored engraving from the 18th century, but the drawing appears to be 17th century. The engraver is Jacques Chéreau (1688-1776). The inscription reads "In Paris at Jacques Chéreau's, rue St. Jacques, above the St. Séverin Fountain with the two columns. No. 257."
