Bamboo Sword-cane, 19th Century
Bamboo sword-cane with a triangular, serrated steel blade, a blond horn handle, a silver or silver-plated ferrule and ring, and a copper tip. In excellent condition, the cane measures 96 cm, the blade 45 cm. Possession is legal, but carrying in public is not. Period: late 19th century. The wearing of swords, reserved for gentlemen in the 18th century, gave way to this type of concealed weapon. Shipping possible, please contact us.
