"Bronze Bouillotte Lamp, Louis XVI Style, Mid-20th Century"
Solid bronze bouillotte lamp, chased and with a dark green painted metal shade. Oval, with two lights, it can be rewired to current standards for a reasonable additional charge. In the Louis XVI style, the light arms wrap around the beaded bronze base. Handcrafted in the mid-20th century. Originally, the bouillotte lamp was named after the card game popular in the 18th century, played on the table of the same name. Today, it is a perfect desk or living room lamp.
