Gustave Odiot: Circular Sterling Silver Platter / Tray Louis XVI Style

Sumptuous round solid silver platter by the prestigious Gustave ODIOT in the Louis XVI style. The platter features a contoured border with strong fillets and crossed ribbons with foliate clasps, and the rim is engraved with the original monogram "JP" (see photos). It bears the French Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (.950), the hallmark of the prestigious Gustave ODIOT (O with a lit antique blade) received in 1865, and his full signature "ODIOT Paris." The piece is also numbered. This sumptuous round ODIOT platter is in very good condition, having been serviced and cleaned by our silversmith. There are only minor scratches consistent with use. Please disregard any reflections in the photos.
