"Napoleon III Liquor Cabinet - 19th Century Marquetry Box"
The liquor cabinet is a small piece of furniture of exquisite refinement, full of ingenuity. At the end of the 18th century, it was used to accompany and enhance long carriage journeys. But it was in the 19th century that the fashion for liquor cabinets truly took off. We offer this liquor cabinet, complete with its 16 glasses and 4 Saint Louis crystal decanters, decorated with engraved motifs. Each stopper and decanter is numbered and matches the others.
The tray, made of precious wood, is adorned with chased bronze mounts. The case is finished with Boulle marquetry, chased brass, and tortoiseshell.
