A pair of porcelain vases on pedestals, decorated in polychrome reserves with romantic scenes of young women with winged cupids, all on a Sèvres midnight blue ground highlighted with gold. The mounts are in chased and gilt bronze with two foliate handles. These vases originally had lids. Napoleon III, Second Empire period. They are in excellent condition, with no cracks or repairs.
