China Canton Lamp Vase - 19th Century
Chinese porcelain vase mounted as a lamp with fine and rich decoration of numerous characters, court scenes in reserves enhanced with gold with flowers, foliage, interlacing and birds and insects. Presence on each side of small openwork holds of water lily leaves and fruits. Presence of two small losses on each, visible in the photos. This Vase was mounted as a lamp, without drilling it. It has been decorated with a monogram white canvas lampshade and a removable openwork base. Production from Canton, second half of the 19th Century.
