Small Miniature Clock In The Louis XVI Style, Second Empire Period
Small clock, a miniature Louis XVI-style table clock, in gilded bronze, with a fluted column-shaped case, sides adorned with foliage volutes, topped by a flaming torch tied with a ribbon. The dial, protected by glass, features enamel painted with small garlands of flowers and openwork gilded hands. The clock is mounted on a white marble base supported by six small feet. This clock has been cleaned and serviced by our clockmaker and is in perfect working order. It will be delivered with a key, though not the original one. An interesting small antique clock dating from around 1880
