Pair Of Sèvres Porcelain Vases
a pair of large Sèvres-style covered vases, Napoleon III period (second half of the XIXᵉ century), measuring approximately 66 cm high. They feature:
- a hand-painted polychrome decoration with galant scenes inspired by the XVIIIᵉ century;
- abundant gold highlights;
- gilt bronze handles or handles decorated with women's heads .
- richly ornamented square bases;
- lids with flame-shaped grips.
This type of piece was widely produced by the Manufacture de Sèvres and by Parisian workshops working "in the Sèvres taste" during the XIXᵉ century.
