Meissen Porcelain Goblet On A Pedestal – 19th Century
A large and spectacular Meissen porcelain bowl on a pedestal, richly openwork and adorned with an exquisitely detailed relief design. The piece is embellished with numerous applied flowers, two cherubs, floral garlands, and gold highlights, in the purest Saxon Rococo style.
The two-handled bowl rests on an elegant openwork shaft that ends in a curving, openwork base, lavishly decorated with polychrome flowers. This piece attests to the remarkable craftsmanship of the Meissen workshops in the production of ceremonial porcelain in the 19th century.
A very beautiful display piece, ideal for a collection of antique porcelain or as a prestigious decorative element.
