This medallion profile depicts a young woman with finely drawn features, exuding a distinguished allure.
Although dated 1921, it retains a certain turn-of-the-century charm. The portrait features a young woman with an attractive face, a sharp gaze, and an aristocratic bearing. She appears radiant and confident. The paleness of her complexion bathes her bare shoulders, elegant neck, and face. Only the light blue of her iris, shaded with sanguine, and the delicate red of her lips stand out. The artist, whose signature is indecipherable, knows how to use the pencil to define the contours very accurately, sanguine to shade and model, or watercolor to introduce volumes and movement.
