A lovely little set of three notebooks, formerly belonging to a sailor who signed his work LM.
The set includes a daily money management book dated 1800, a gusseted notebook for 300 casino chips or other banknotes, and a more personal notebook with a pretty engraved silver lock and interior pockets.
All are bound in red morocco leather and are in beautiful condition, with little wear and tear for this two-century-old American stationery set!
