An early twentieth-century centrepiece attributed to C. G. Schierholz & Sohn, Plaue, and featuring a reticulated bowl supported above a wreath of applied roses. Four musical putti form a complete ensemble beneath the bowl. The soft modelling and floral decoration reflect the Dresden/Rococo Revival aesthetic that characterised Plaue’s early twentieth-century production.
