Late 17th/early 18th century icon, oil on wood, highlighted with gold and silver. This icon is in its original condition, with some flaking and loss of paint. One of the saints has a metal halo, likely silver or silver-plated. The metal halo of the Virgin Mary is missing. I believe this icon is of Russian or Greek origin. It has a beautiful patina and signs of age. This oil on wood is highlighted with gold. Dimensions: 32.50 cm x 24 cm. Thickness: 2.50 cm.
