"Communion Mold - 19th Century "
A curious piece: a late 19th-century cast iron communion wafer iron. It features a beautiful mold for preparing four wafers. The production of communion wafers was industrialized in the 1900s, rendering obsolete the heavy tongs previously used for their manufacture. Dimensions: 65 cm long x 21 cm wide.
