"Winter Road With Two Peasant Figures By Adolf Gustav Schweitzer (1847-1914)"
This winter scene was created by the renowned German painter Adolf Gustav Schweitzer (1847 Dessau - 1914 Düsseldorf). He studied at the Düsseldorf Academy under O. Achenbach and E. Duecker, and his finest works were forest landscapes. Schweitzer's works are housed in the Düsseldorf City Art Collection and at the Provincial Museum in Münster, Bautzen.
