Terracotta bust of a woman. It depicts a young girl with loose hair, wearing a decorative headband adorned with a floral motif. At the base, a magnificent bouquet of lilies emerges. This is likely a representation of the French dancer and model Cléo de Mérode, very popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, portrayed by many renowned French artists such as Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and Edgar Degas.

Austria, Art Nouveau, circa 1900. Signed with the Goldscheider company stamp and numbered.

Goldscheider (Goldscheider'sche Porzellan-Manufactur und Majolica-Fabrik) – a Viennese ceramics manufacturer founded in 1885 by Frederic Goldscheider. The production included historicist, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco works. It existed until World War II.
