A Louis XVI style giltwood salon suite, comprising a sofa/bench and four armchairs, each with a medallion back surmounted by a bouquet of roses, decorated with vegetal friezes on the armrests and seat rail, resting on four tapered and fluted legs with small flowers on the uprights. Upholstered in Aubusson tapestry with a floral design, dating from the Napoleon III period, 19th century. This salon suite is in good overall condition, in its original state. Please note: the tapestry seats are worn (tears), some of the braid is worn, one armchair back is damaged (see red arrow), one armrest is slightly dislodged, and there are a few minor imperfections and wear to the wood and gilding.
