Carved half-calabash, representing a woman and her young child under her arm carrying a basket on her head, accompanied by a dog; behind her walks a man who carries a large jar or jug on his back, the work of a sailor or convict most likely from New Caledonia (or French Guiana), from the 19th century. This hull is in good general condition.
