Pair of Saint-Louis* crystal tea glasses or mugs, made of pink crystal with a frosted base and acid-etched, accented with gilding, featuring a design of bouquets of flowers as well as stylized, leafy arch motifs, dating from the Art Nouveau period of the late 19th to early 20th centuries.

These glasses are in good condition, with superb quality and delicate decoration. They are not stamped (antique production). The owners’ names (R. and ML. Roulin, most likely a couple) are engraved with a point (added later) on the rims.

*The Verrerie Royale de Saint-Louis, located in the French town of Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche in the Moselle department, is the oldest crystal glassworks in France (1586). In 1829, the glassworks became the Compagnie des Cristalleries de Saint-Louis. The crystal factory, which is still in operation today, was acquired in 1989 by the famous luxury brand Hermès. Saint-Louis and Baccarat are the leading French crystal manufacturers.
