Meissen Porcelain Tray Around 1750

Artist: Meissen
A rare Meissen porcelain tray with Watteau-style scenes and a finely decorated rim in royal blue and gold dots. The tray dates back to around 1750, before the Meissen period began marking sword hilts with the dot, a period coinciding with the Seven Years' War.
