Polychrome porcelain coffee pot, entirely hand-painted and gilt, decorated with floral motifs in Louis XVI taste. The fluted body is adorned with garlands of roses, daisies and wildflowers in shades of pink, red and blue, framed by gilt fillets running along the ribs. The sinuous spout and scrolling handle are enriched with gilt reserves, while the lid, matching the body in decoration and palette, is topped by a pinecone finial and a band of painted flowers.
Condition report: Good condition. Some wear to the gilding, consistent with age and use.
