The frame features a profile articulated across several carved mouldings: the inner band is decorated with half-round ovoli, the outer band with fluting, both secured at the corners by closed leaf elements. The gilding, applied over a preparation ground, has developed a uniform patina consistent with the age of the piece. The decorative repertoire and profile structure are characteristic of 17th century Tuscan frame production.

Condition report: Generally good state of preservation. Minor losses to the carved ornament and wear to the gilding are present, consistent with the age of the piece.
