Baccarat - 5-piece Water Or Night Glass Service With Athenian Engraving Decoration

A night service or water glass service in white crystal. It comprises a water carafe, a lemon balm carafe, a water glass, a sugar bowl, and a tray. This is a typical piece of bedroom decor from the 19th century and the Belle Époque. Produced by Baccarat, this Louis XVI style model features an Athenian engraving. A classic design with engraved scrollwork. This particular example dates from the early 20th century, before the crystalworks began acid-etching its signature onto its pieces; therefore, it does not bear the Baccarat stamp, but the model is listed in the 1916 toilet articles catalog. A collector's set in very good condition. No damage. A very slight cloudiness in the water carafe. Rare to find in such beautiful condition and, above all, complete.
