"Early 18th Century Queen Anne Walnut Trumeau"
Elegant and refined walnut burl veneered trumeau with walnut inlay and oak interior. The trumeau features an upper body with two projecting arches and silver mirrors on two key-opening doors. Inside, numerous compartments are revealed, including two candle holders, seven drawers, various document compartments, and two opening doors flanked by two columns. The lower section features four drawers, two large and two small, ergonomically designed to hold objects and open with bronze locks. The trumeau ends with onion-shaped feet, while the central section features an elaborate drop-leaf desk with two pulls, a leather top, numerous drawers, and secret compartments, such as decorative columns that could serve as secret letter holders. This is a piece of furniture of the highest quality and uniqueness, capable of furnishing any space with extreme refinement and class. English manufacture from the Queen Anne period, early 18th century.
