A lovely lamp by Georges Pelletier, created in the 1970s. Made of openwork ceramic, with small discs in the cutouts. Double lighting, both internal and external, under the lampshade. Very good condition. Dimensions with lampshade: Height 39.5 cm x Lampshade diameter 25.5 cm. Height of the base alone: 26.5 cm. Georges Pelletier is a ceramicist and artist born in Belgium. He trained at the Académie Charpentier in Paris. A pioneer of the Accolay potters' movement, he absorbed their free spirit and developed an instinctive and natural relationship with shaping and glazing clay. His artistic vocabulary explores the interplay of openwork and the addition of ornamentation using a fire-resistant metal. From the 1960s onwards, his unique style captivated Roche Bobois, with whom he collaborated for over ten years to create lighting fixtures. Dimensions - 26 cm
